Yeah, next Tuesday. Looking forward to it, its in a fantastic arena, well over a 1,000 tickets sold, first real event of its kind here. Not sure what the atmosphere will be like or whether they're be many locals there but at least we're virtually guaranteed a KO in the Browne/Towers fight.

So your looking forward to this card because it has Towers/Browne, rest of the card is dog turd, but you think the Matchroom card is ****? Strange.

I think Ryder/O'kane is a better fighter then Towers/Browne, both have potential to be wars

    Way better fight!

Im pleasantly surprised that both guys have stepped up and taken this fight. Neither will take a backwards step.

Looking forward to it because I haven't see a live card in 18 months.

I'll clarify, its '****' for a SKY show, considering they've meant to have upped their standards. Again not Hearn's fault but if VVarren/Maloney put on his two cards + this they'd get grief.

Indeed, O'Kane didn't overly impress me in Prizefighter but he he'll be more suited to the ten round distance IMO, and will have a fairly big size advantage, his strength coudl play a big part late in the fight.

Ryder is talented but if he's going to win I have a feeling he'll have to go through hell.

This is the kind of match making we need to see more, shows both O'kane and Ryder have a great ttitude to boxing also.

 I do see your point though!

I'm not really up on O'Kane and Ryder to be honest, or Etches...

    What's the lowdown?

It's definitely not Theophane, Carson just confirmed it on facebook, he says they are close to announcing an opponent though.

    Could it be McCloskey?

Does Dean Bryne wanna get beaten again at short notice?. I'd not advise him to take Jones at short notice..

So you've never enjoyed a mediocre film? Or a mediocre album? Not everything needs to be Hagler-Hearns to be of interest.

You must be pretty naive. That's not how it happened at all. It really isn't.

    1 - I didn't spend £15, I watched it in the pub.
2 - I find this a regular argument - he did the right thing by Harrison, so that's ok. Well, yes. He did. But it wouldn't have happened without the influence he had over Sky. That's an undisputed fact.

What a stupid statement. What was Reid-Anderson if NOT a journeyman versus a prospect?

Now that's a completely different debate. I actually think Hennessey's cards are pretty decent. VIP and Coldwell are much more competitive than Hearn's IMO.

And actually a LOT of people are saying Hearn is the saviour. Plenty come out with "Hearn is the future" and other such pish.

Carson just said on facebook that they're are a few names in the frame but it's nobody that anyone will get excited about.

Expect someone like Peter McDonagh in a 8 rounder lol
