I'm curious to know if his so-called decline come when he supposedly admitted to accepting random drug testing..
When he realized that a positive drug test would be really, really bad for his political career and quit doping.
His decline came when he tried to be a boxer, a politician, an actor, businessman, singer, pastor, army reservist and peace ambassador all at the same time.
Pac never declined, it's just his new standard that's making him decline. Nowaday if he doesn't hurt or knock you down you automatically win that round. So if you run and be can't catch you, you'd just exposed him . Even the judges are buying into it.
His last great preformace was Tony. The really reason he has looked on the decline is that he is fighting fighters that have been fighting of the back foot. Shane ran. Bradley knew to counter punch him and no come forward same with marquez. Tony, cotto, hatton, oscar all tryed to out muslce him cause he was smaller and really played right into his hands. But non the less, he has been on a slow decline since Tony.
If you've been paying attention, he started slowing down as soon as he fought Margarito. It's been a slow, steady decline since then.
Around the Clottey fight. Was definitely apparent in the Margarito fight that his handspeed and footspeed weren't the same.
pac fighting bigger guys seems to be accelerating his decline. if he's not going to retire, he may need to move back down to 140.
Slothrop, YES YOU, SLOTHROP! Stop scrolling to see if someone quoted you. It didn't happen bro. Press back on the browser and forget about this one.
To me he still looked prime when he fought Clottey. He was still super fast / explosive. Then in the margo fight it's like his speed and everything dropped off.
I still think he left a tiny bit in the ring against Margo. Even though he dominated he got busted up a bit.
Agreed. That was the last time I saw Old-Pac. He hasn't let out more than one flurry since that fight.
