Ortiz, Pwill, Kirkland, Cotto all found a way to step off the plate.

    Floyd's next!

The servers would shut down here when that fight gets made. I mean when it's announced, we all know it's made of 100% china any time a moderately significant fight is taking place. It couldn't even manage Wlad-Wach. :verysad

GBP actually doesn't stand to lose much of anything with a Floyd fight and decision loss on his record to him, as opposed to these "no-name" contenders. The mexican fan base doesn't stop supporting fighters because they lost their "0" anyway, so I haven't a clue what they're so terribly worried about. ****, that goes for any real fan of the sport. I don't think Canelo is a coward. His promotion is making him look awful, though.

I think Canelo has more balls then his promoters, the fight could still happen.

The line about those guys stepping down was said in jest but the point stands.

Or are you laughing at the absurd notion that Floyd would duck a fight.

I might be inclined to agree under most circimstances. After beating ex-champion Cotto. I'd match Trout with Kirkland or Angluo first. There are some diffrances here. First off there is the somewhat popular opinion that Cotto was compitive with Mayweather. I don't agree, but there is a good amount of people who think this. Secondly and most importantly is the fact that Trout beat Cotto in MSG, which if any boxer has a home stadium it's Cotto at MSG. Under the cirmstances Trout deserves a big fight such as Alvarez or Mayweather. He might not beat them, but he deserves a big fight.

Cotto could win? Is he really going to lose three in a row?
