Do you think if Floyd Mayweather didn't act like such a spoiled brat, he wouldn't have to beg his fellow Americans to support him instead of a foreigner like Pacquiao?

It's true. Mayweather acts like an *******, burns hundred dollar bills in the midst of a recession which turns off a lot of people, then he whines when his fellow country men want a foreigner like Pacman to whoop his ass.

Then, Mayweather starts talking gibberish about how he should be compared to civil rights leaders and volunteers in the US Military... atsch

To make matters even dumber... Floyd has a legion of fans who actually think the negativity Floyd brings upon himself must be due to racism during a time when Barack Obama was elected President of the USA.

 

In general, a zero loss record gets disputable when/if the fighter hadn't fought the best available.... that can be due to preventing bad match-ups, also others who are ducking the very fighter. Most of the times, its practically not feasible to fight all the best because of time constraints, contracting, and outside interests a fighter dont have control of.

The above fighters are pretty legitimate (with the exception of Bradley's win over Pacquiao), but there are plenty of competitors available to either further legitimize or kill their zero

Ive been a Ward fan since ESPN showed his Christopher Holt fight.... just showed sharp punches, very controlled, and very slick

No, it's just very dull and unoriginal. Styles, ability and talent should be the dominant factors in determining favorite fighters, but to each his own. I have less in common with "my own" than I do blacks and hispanics, anyways.

And now white American men are trying to sell their black inferiority complex to the rest of the world. Yesterday I saw "King of Queens". The producers wanted a lust story to go on between the two couples in the movie.. and since Doug is white... the logical thing to do is have his white wife be hot for his black friend Deacon.

This inferiority complex is also why there wont be another white American HW. Europeans, Russians etc do not have this attitude and they are doing fine just look at emilianenko, Klitscho, Price and so on.

White Americans think they have lost before they enter the ring with a black guy. All the "bet on the black guy in sports" is pathetic because although some might sell this as the politically correct thing to do (to enhance black image to abode for previous generations' sins) it really is racist. Russians etc do not look at race - they look at individuals. This is far less racist than the American approach of thinking they have lost if the opponent is black.

So all in all the American approach is pathetic and racist at the same time.

Tim bradley is not undefeated! Broner is overrated. Floyd is a bonafide ATG though.

However i have the feeling that had Floyd fought PRIME Delahoya/Mosley/Forrest/Tszyu etc he would not be undefeated!

Ward is feeding off of the slops of JC's era and the fact that the MW/LHW divisions are in such transitional periods and lacking defining fighters which benefits the SMW division!

I like ward but i think there are a lot of double standards with americans and other nations! Ward struggles with Bika and Froch in boring fights and he is the second coming. WK easily defeats Haye and Thompson in boring but dominant affairs and the division is terrible LOL.

Having watched Ward vs Froch i am more convinced than ever that JC would have handled both of em!

Ward is very likeable.
Floyd is an idiot and has ducked the big fights at Welterweight despite being in that division for 6 years now and continues to take fans for fools - yet they lap it up. It doesn't help he has so many idiotic hero-worshipping fans who repeat everything he says.
Bradley is not offensive, but he's got too high an opinion of himself. He thinks he's someone because of a crazy decision, and is avoiding competitive fights for big paydays.
