As I said, Cotto's best was his resume before he stepped up to 154. As I also said, Cotto was shot after Margarito and Pacquiao. So shot Cotto beat shot Mayorga basically

Cotto would destroy Hatton at any period of their careers

    So when was cottos "prime"

When he was getting ROCKED by bums at 140?

When Margarito beat him black and blue, made him take two cowardly knees and QUIT?

    When clottey beat him?

When he ran from pac but still got destroyed

    When floyd schooled him?

    Well, when was it?

Clearly when he moved up to 147. He beat Clottey, whether you like it or not. He beat Mosley, whether you like it or not. Margarito I won't bother answering. Funny you're bringing up Pacquiao, we're comparing to Hatton aren't we? Funny you're bringing up Mayweather, we're comparing to Hatton aren't we? Hatton, who spent most of his time tryingt to hit Floyd and got KO'd, I seem to recall Cotto at least making Mayweather work for it in the last 7 rounds...so I'd not bring up Pacquiao and Mayweather if you're comparing Cotto to Hatton :rofl

Cotto's best was at 147, I've already said it. I'm also not saying he's an all time great, I'm just saying he's a bit superior to Hatton.

Hatton won the same amount of rounds against PRIME floyd as cotto did against shopworn floyd.

    Yes he got stopped.

But Hatton is naturally a lot smaller than cotto, who has like 20lb of extra ballast.

Being smaller doesn't make you a worser fighter.

Hatton sucks btw, just saying him and cotto are the same level

I won't rest until people recognised cotto for what he truly is

    A gatekeeper

Prime Cotto pounds the **** out of Hatton. Not sure what planet you're from actually, Cotto's been in there with the best available his entire career.

LOL, well dude, it really doesn't mean as much to me as it means to you :)
If I had to rank them, I give Cotto the edge and explained why. I think Pacquiao is better than Cotto and he's a smaller guy so not sure why you need to explain "being smaller doesn't make you worse" :tong

The fact Hatton got KO'd by someone with Floyd's poor KO ability and fact Pac found him with a money shot so early on shows how poor a technical boxer Hatton is - you've just backed up some of my reasoning.

Anyway, good luck on your "Cotto sucks" campaign :D

    :patsch

Even if you dismiss the Malignaggi, Clottey and Judah wins, how can you possibly disregard his wins over Mosley, Pinto, Torres and Quintana? Not to mention the other 3-4 underrated victories he had at 140...
