Good to see Carson still fighting, atleast he's getting paid.

Would love that. If Kell does the business against Alexander (touch wood) and becomes champion, he can have a first defence in Sheffield around April or May maybe. With Purdy vs Jones on the undercard. Would be great scenario that.

    :good

Shame to see this card fall apart was looking forward to Purdy/Jones and Rees/Murray both had the potential to be very entertaining fights would have been a good little show before christmas!

More for 2013 though it seems.

Dean Byrne is a better fight, think hes going to get a pasting though, might be competitive for a few rounds.

and atleast he is kind of a 'home' fighter, a shock win could really put him in the mix, and another one to follow if you like. had it have been this random hairy eastern european, it would have been awful.

not a bad fight i think. the card sint too bad, and we know that sky will maked it seem better than it actually is. will def watch sky, then channel 5 at 12 when it is finsihed. obviously a bit disappointing, but not the worst card in the world

Mark Thompson was offered the fight, him and Arnie accepted and Jones and his people looked at it, then refused the fight :good

Smartish move from Jones as Thompson's dangerous espicially at short notice and Carson's attitude is no risks he wants the world title fights so now way would he risk it.

Shame for Mark, Arnie and us though cos i like thought of that fight..

The card has fallen apart, shame as I was really looking forward to it.

Bit ironic though that the always injured Barker is top of the bill due to fighters pulling out.

Indeed mate. Shame for Mark moreso though, that was a 'winnable' fight that could have propelled his career.
