the gloves were inspected right after the weigh in....checked and signed by everyone, then handed to the ref until fight night

Plus in the 8 years i have been with the klitschkos... there has never been an issue with the Grant gloves

OK. Just read the whole thread to catch up. Given how things are done I'd just assumed from that article I read it was probably just a defective glove. I guess I'm confused why the commission hasn't dissected the glove yet and come up with a ruling. I was under the mistaken impression the commission would have filed a report already about the glove. Under the circumstances they should have searched the locker room at that time also.

But the gloves is still there ? By the BDB? Or whom?

So it can be proof, if the glove where manipulated or not. And it would not be a problem to check who did it if the BDB did the right thing.

We live in 2012 the fingerprints of a person can be check or the DNA. All this things. And it will be no problem to find out who manipulated the glove.

That Vitali caught the infraction before he could put the glve means nothing through Chef.

Like I said the fact that he never had the glove on and tried to claim that it didn't have padding leaves room that there is a possibility that he didn't know there was an issue with the glove.

Yes whether Wach or his team knew about the tampering is entirely relevent when you are discussing whether he and his team should be punished or not.

It doesn't have to be that way either to stop dirty fighters, just launch an investigation, see if the glove was actually tampered and follow the chain of custody regarding the gloves to see who or when it could have been tampered with then make a disciplinary ruling.

It doesn't seem that hard or far fetched an idea in my opinion.

How do you know another party was not involved? You earlier just admitted that the commission didn't do their job if the glove was tampered with by his party, so what makes you think another party could not have been involved? That is the reason why a investigation needs to be launched.

I'm not claiming there is a huge conspiracy, I'm simply saying before we talk about destroying a livelihood, which should happen if the person and team members were aware, in the German jurisdiction, there should AT THE LEAST be a formal presentation of evidence and a query into who did what or who likely did what and then a decision should be rendered.

I believe in your mind you think you are making a point towards what I've said. Unfortunately you actually haven't.

The older I get the 'truer' birds of a feather gets. That is probably the best part of having CHEF on board here. I think we get a true glimpse of the brothers character through him.

Wach has already had his A sample test positive. The fighter is responsible for his team under the rules of boxing. This is what happened to Margo. That said, he most likely assembled a team of 'like minds'. Yeah, it all has to be laid out but there is no avenue to claim innocence for not knowing what his team did if that is where the investigation leads.

I think a story like that before a fight can change your mentality and motivation

wlad fought as if he was annoyed.i wanted to put the hurt on wach..

in my own opinion i thought wlad wanted to take the fight as long as possible to inflict pain (i put it down the the manny situation)..

my reason for thinking this was because wlad landed a great hook on wach big head and it wobbled and hurt him (yet he didnt throw the shots again)..

ive no doubt in my mind hooks were the fight ender for wlad but after he seen that for himself he choose not to go for it??..

wach could have just stopped giving wlad the options for them.but surly wlads good enough to set them up...

    just my opinion though

Thank you for your answer. I now know that it is the other teams job to check the gloves. I always thought it was the official and I think many other fans would think the same.

Do you believe that an official has never been complicit to glove tampering or other forms of cheating? That an official has never taken a bribe knowing they will be punished if caught?

It has happened before and unfortunately will happen again. In fact if everyone had your attitude there would be nothing to stop them.

Perhaps you should stop calling others imbeciles with zero real-life experience and think about how naive your comment is.

think about it..... the ref had the gloves over night after they were examined and signed..... so who is most likely to **** with the gloves?

    The ref?
    or
a team whos fighters sample A has tested pos for PED's?

    :think

CHEF do we actually know what Wach tested positive for? Or when/if we will find out? I read a couple of articles but it wasn't mentioned.

Wach testing positive shows hes obviously not worried about breaking the rules.

The "benefit of the doubt" imo he does NOT get, concerning the 1/10000 chance that the factory "forgot to put the padding in"

An appropriate response needs to be taken here

It happened to be the right hand glove too. Convenient.
