Doesn't matter how often you bring that quote up they'll still talk ****. Fact is Calzaghe beat him during his greatest run of wins anyway. After he had beaten Wright and Tarver and before he beat Pavlick.

    Couldn't put it better myself

Also after the fight with Bhop going on to beat pavlik and pascal you can hardly argue that Bhop was finished for or after the fight

The minute Hopkins made the comment ''Id never lose to a white boy'' He was never going to get a decision. I could imagine that pissed a lot of the American big-wigs off.

Let's get this straight, Tarver, Ottke, Taylor, Froch (despite all the **** he used to talk), Wright and Taylor all turned down decent contracts for a fight.

Just a shame Calzaghe wasn't in a tournament that was crookedly set up to get big name boxers to fight him in his back yard.

Not that I'm denying Ward's ability. He's an amazing boxer.

Were the judges all white supremacists or something? That was probably just something he said to stir up hype in the fight. Furthermore I scored the fight 116-111 to Joe anyway so I feel he won anyway as do most people to be honest

It was tighter than that mate, in no way can you give a 4 round win to any of the fighters.

I thought Calzaghe just nicked it.

The point Im trying to make that in a close fight and it was close, the comments made by Hopkins didn't help him that was still fresh in peoples minds.

It was a close fight but quite a few rounds are either or and first time I scored it I got 116-111 same as one of the judges. I might rewatch it even though it's a horrible fight. Let's not forget other despicable things BHop did like fake lowblows to get a breather.

I still don't think those comments really affected the scoring but who know I guess

I think I only had Calzaghe by a point or maybe 3 but Hopkins should have had points taken.

I still can't make a case for Calzaghe beating Hopkins, you don't score point for flapping your arms around wildly and missing with hundreds of punches. It's hard to make a case for Hopkins winning it either but at least he lands some scoring punches albeit in between rolling around like a fanny and pretending to be punched in the nuts.

So retiring as a 46-0 undefeated world champion with wins over future Hall of Famer's is a wasted career now?

No ****ing wonder I don't post in the boxing forums.
