Kelly has had three 'tuneups' at this point anyhow. A step up fight would probably be better than a soft touch anyhow but he went for 'the man'.

 

Dirrell is the only other guy he hasn't fought and there was plenty of time to make that fight instead.

 

i agree that there isnt much else right now at smw. he probably does have a legit injury. but if the fight hasnt been rescheduled i'd be curious if they are looking to try to set something else up since it doesnt appear that many in the press were super stoked on the fight.

 

Pavlik vs Rodriguez, Stevenson, Bika, even Bute... a step-up before the Ward fight. Make it happen, HBO.
