up until last month... fury has been saying NO. Arreola has been saying the same..NO most fights... wlad fights top ranked guy... not every fight can be the TOP guy. "FIGHTING WEAK GUYS"? beat chris Byrd for IBF/IBO Beat Ibagimov(sp?) for WBO Beat Chagaev( was #3 in the world) for Ring Beat David Haye for WBA yeah.... those 4 guys are weakatschatsch
Byrd was way past it. 2 years earlier he was beat to a shot to **** Golota. The other 3 wins didn't impress me in the slightest. Ibagimov was a joke fight and Chagaev just allowed himself to be popped off with punches.
Same can be said for fighters like Tyson. When did we ever see Tyson fighting on the outside using his jab? When Holyfield was kicking his arse on the inside Mike should have adapted and used his jab and fought on the outside. Tysons an ATG but your logic makes him 1 dimensional, limited and he obviously can't adapt. Not a troll statement but the truth
limited fighters dont fight against different styles and come up trumps every time they do...if he is indeed limited and can only fight one way.he must have the only style in the world that beats every other style.. and example if you would like rock,paper,sisscors.. we all know the rules.. now i bring to you rock, paper, sisscors, hand granade.. only in my game hand granade wins ever time...:good
but holmes went the distance with holyfield and tyson knocked holmes out which means tyson would beat holyfield easily if they fought...oh **** hold on..ummmmmm
Wlad is brilliant at what he does but he isn't a versatile fighter. His entire game revolves around his offensive jab and defensive holding. That works, but it isn't versatile at all. He doesn't even do some of the basics, such as throw body punches. Being so inflexible is good against opposition who can't adapt themselves, but it'd hurt his chances against elite opposition. Luckily, there's nobody out there to test him.
Byrd was consensus #1 in the world at the time... the fight itself with Iggy wasnt the best I have seen, but he was a top fighter you say Wlad doesnt fight and then you dont give wlad credit because "chegaev allowed himself to be popped off"atsch how about credit to wlad because Chagaev was dominated by him I can see now, no matter who I say fought wlad, its not good enough..... with all the guys wlad has fought.. you think Fury is the guy to make you finally give wlad credit?:rofl:rofl:rofl
another man confusing not throwing them with cant throw them.. wlad dosnt need to throw them its not part of his gameplan..its called being a head hunter.it works you know aparently if the head goes down the body goes down with it... lack of versitility means you cant adapt to do something else..wlad clearly can but dosnt need to..try watching his earlier fights and am days and you will see.. ****ing goon..i like you better when you use your alt
**** wlad cant win here can he ?, if he takes on fury soon, you all ****ing know ******s like the op will say he only took him on now because he is raw and he is scared he will get really good............and if he does not take him on, either because hes not really on the radar, or as i believe because fury turned an offer down before, then hes ****ing scared of him and is ducking lol, brain blown on this it really is, such is the desperate hate by people knocking on a guy who cant be beat by any one out there there making **** up
No, I disagree with that. I feel any fighter who can take enough risk to KO most of his opponents and at the same time rarely gets hit hard in return has a lot of boxing skills. Also, you have to factor in he is facing the best fighters of his division.
Neither were Foreman, Marciano, Tyson or Frazier. You don't have to be versatile in order to be great.
atsch He rarly gets hit clean and never gets out boxed and has one punck ko power in each hand ??? This man has more options then any champ before him and means he is also the most veritile . Another ****** post :deal
