Exactly. It is highly unreasonable to expect this of fighters. Frankly, I'm amazed so many of them do stay in the ring to do interviews afterward. If I just lost a big fight, that's the last thing I'd want to do.

Might be slightly more important to Cotto than a post-fight interview. Just barely, by the slightest margin, ever so slightly more important. Just maybe.

Bull****. Of course emotions run high for a fighter after a loss. But every fight has a loser, and it isn't too often you see other losers pulling a stunt like this. What makes Cotto so special that when he loses he gets to run away and pout about it in his locker room? A fighter of his calibre should be ready to deal with a loss. Instead he took it like a complete unprofessional and stormed away in a hissy fit.

His fans paid good money to see him fight. He wasn't legally obligated to speak after the fight, but his fans sure would have liked it. He knew that and he still didn't care enough to say a few words.

And his devastated son sounds like a spoiled brat who is yet to accept that you can't always win in life. Just like his daddy.

Your outrage and concern for Cotto's fans-who aren't even mad about it-is touching, it truly is.

Cuz they just saw their dad's punk ass get torn up. If he really cared for them why would he let them watch his fights LIVE? Don't play the sympathy card here.

I agree with you completely with everything you've just said. I noticed that too with Miguel. In the fight with Floyd, he did the same crap and left. This time, if people want to say it was because of his son, fair enough, but I won't believe it either due to his track history. And not even talking about this fight or the one with Floyd, he even did the same loser crap with poochiao. When his fight with poochiao was coming, he said there was no weight trouble and he's fine, after the fight, he says poochiao will never drain him again. But yet, what did he try to do to Margarito? I had respect for Cotto, but now, he's just a cry baby sore loser.
