No chance lucas kould win an im a huge fan of the dude. Just not enough "game" to beat floyd. Floyds better at every aspect of fighting then lucas. The only advantage is power, in a fight with floyd not everyone else, but his hands are much to slow for floyd even at this point. Hes an extremely slow starter but if he wants any chance hed have to be on that ass diggin shots to the body problem with that is u leave urself more open to the most accuratr counter puncher in years

 

Lucas couldnt even break Zabs defense. lmao! Matthsyee is a boxer by nature, he is not a pressure fighter. He isnt that nice on the inside either. He depends on the other guy dropping first/power. He has no real skill when it comes to "pressure" Watch Cotto vs judah and compare. It would take Floyd two rounds to get his timing down, then he would beat Lucas like Gatti.

 

I think Floyd is more dangerous on the inside...he has these sneaky short punches that catch fighters off guard and if you dont have a great beard you will find yourself in trouble more often than not....and with a fighter like LM... will open up way too much once he is in close and that will be his down fall.

Lucas is a natural 140 fighter.. he won't move up to 147 and will probaly retire at 140.

It could be a tough fight. If Matthyese had the right gameplan to methodically try to wslk him down, trust his chin (but not rely on it like JCC Jr or MARGARITO) he might have the power to trouble a Mayweather who's legs to me seemed diminished in the Cotto fight. Mayweather would win a wide decision or Matthyese would have success and possibly trouble or even stop him late in my opinion.
