These threads are funny as ****. Ward won't travel. Ward ducked Bute. Calslappy would beat Ward. Now it's Ward is faking injuries. You can smell the hate, butthurt and desperation a mile away. It's kind of sad really....

I disagree with your implications purephase but I do have an open question. When any boxer has an injury does it have to be officially defined as a fight postponing event or does the boxer call the shots? So, does there have to be a third party medical opinion that says 'yeah, this guy can't fight' or can boxers claim an injury without providing proof if they feel they need more preparation (I'm not at all claiming that is what Ward is doing).

For those of you who mention victor conte.. There has been talk that ward no longer works with him and to be honest talk of the injury ped connection is ridiculous.

I do however find ward a bit of a ***** when it comes to injuries. Broken hands, small cuts, shoulders etc are just part of the game. He is obviously very injury prone. Often
postponing fights and using injuries as an excuse to belittle the performance of opponents is low and hardly the behaviour of a warrior.

So sad thing is if he had fought Bute instead of taking a pass and then moved up to fight Dawson at 175 he would probably be considered P4P#1 now.

Now he needs Pacquiao and Mayweather to slip up or retire as the names are not there for him anymore, he's certainly not going to get it by beating a alcoholic in Pavlik.

Ward aint fakin no injury, that is madness.
He could whoop Pavlik's drunk ass without breakin a sweat.
If he says he's hurt then he's hurt. Why would he fake it for such an easy fight?

Actually, Ward may be doing Pavlik a huge favor by giving him more time to get the booze out of his system lol

By the way, as for faking injuries, did he fake the cut he sustained before the Froch fight as well? And did he not fight Froch WHILE ACTUALLY STILL INJURED??

How sad is it that a supremely talented fighter, who always conducts himself decently and humbly, is a consumate professional and doesn't duck or avoid anybody constantly get's shitted on by so called 'boxing fans'?

 the cut was tiny and would have healed and we will have to take wards word for it that he badly injured his hand before the froch fight.:D

You have to consider the source. 90% of the anti-Ward's are butthurt Euro fans of Kessler, Froch or Abraham. The other 10% are not fans of any of the three, they are just plain ole fashioned butthurt Euros.

Yes he did and i never said anything different :patsch try again.

Doesn't escape from the fact that he forced the fight to be postponed due to a tiny cut that would have healed and bitched on about a swollen hand the big girl. now jog on:deal
