after marvin hagler was robbed by getting a draw after he beat the **** out of antefermo in fight 1, he was interviewed after some months later (leading up to minter fight) was asked about the judges this time being the fight was in the UK....he raised both fights up and said " these are the only judges i am gonna need from here on out"
point being...after 3 fights and no definitive winner, its up to one of these guys to knock the other one out or beat the dog **** out of the other where there is no doubt...we already hearing about a bad outcome already

I think the explanation for that would be that JMM clearly won at least 8 rounds.

I think that is mostly why alot of people feel he was robbed.

    END OF THREAD.

so Marquez needs to win specifically by KO because the judges cant do their jobs?

typical response from someone with no valid rebuttals.

I thought Pac won the first fight. Lost the second by one. Lost the third by 4

2 explanations for this 1/3 or the scoring:

1: Bon Arum puts a lot of money into a lot of pockets, in all sorts of ways. Do you really think everyone in the media tells the truth? Try watching FOX news sometime.

2: Some of these people are great personalities, some are great writers, but many of them a clueless about boxing. Seriously.

The simple answer to the OP's main question is that Pac always gets credit for missed shots. If he throws a 4-punch combo, only one lands (and is blocked) three hit nothing but air, and he gets credit for 4 punches, well there you go. - and this happens in every one of his fights. Pac-JMM II was perhaps the most obvious, but it's constant.

If it doesn't happen tomorrow, it will simply be because Pac wants to retire & Uncle Bob wants to hype JMM-Bradley.

    "It's just business."

Because they're Marquez fans? When you're personally invested in a fighter, it's hard to be objective. Marqueers continue to insist it was a onesided fight despite their guy being outpunched, outlanded, and simply outworked. Tbf if it was the other foot, I'd the bitching too.....it was a close fight period and its more painful losing that way....especially 3 times. but if you really are objective, can you really insist this was a robbery?

Three great close fights , Pacman won the first , 2nd was very close and I thought that JMM won the 3rd when I watched it live, but I can see how each fan can score the fights for their man. JMM fans are just cut that Pacman is just a better boxer than JMM and becuase JMM seems to have Pac's number (to make it very close) they think that he was robbed. And that somehow JMM have three wins over Pacman will somehow make him a higher regarded boxer.

No one reads threads anymore they just post the same stupid rethoric.

Let me make it so even a 2 fuging year old can understand.

    1. Lets take ALL judges scores as true scores.

    2. lets see if we can show proof where a robbed round occurred.

    3. I showed a few, therefore due to laws of cause and effect if those
ROUNDS would not have been ROBBED Marquez would have won.

    4. I invite pacquiao fans to show rounds that Marquez got that were
ROBBED from pacquiao to balance out the ones I showed as proof.
Crickets so far in this part.......

Marquez has probably 5 moments in the fight where he landed cleanly. And suddenly, everybody is saying he did it the entire fight.

JMM was outpunched, outhit, outjabbed. He only outhit Pac in 2 rounds of the 12 rounds, and these 12 rounds are not hard to count because Pac only threw like 46 punches per round while JMM was something like 36 punches per round. He lost - it is as simple as that.

Yes because compubox shows all the aspects of scoring fights like effective aggression with an emphasis in clean punching, ring generalship and defense( including punches that partially land due to angle changes).

By the way by your logic Marquez won the second?

I'm surprised its taking Pacquiao a fourth attempt to do what Mayweather did so convincingly in one.
