Dan, When mentioning purses, Arum stated something about advancements owed. Is Pacquiao in the red right now?

No idea. All I know is that, according to Top Rank, he was advanced about $1.5 million against his purse.

smh and this guy turned down 40 mil from Mayweather :-(

I think it was last year Roach said he can't afford to stop fighting with the amount of hangers on he has.

There was also that with the financial firm looking into his accounts who he borrowed money off too and then refused to pay them for their services.

The bigger the entourage the more broke you are. I hope Pac and Floyd have some future finiancal planning, when they get too old to fight.

Mayweather gets an allowance from Al Haymon.

Mayweather is not that rich -- 50 cent

Floyd does not have any other way to make money - 50 cent

Just watched ESPN 30/30 about athletes going bankrupt immediately after they retire.

Pac and PBF is well on their way. Pac probably faster.

If Floyd was broke, why would he turn down a hundred million dollor fight. Fifty is just hatin. The man's net worth is 115 million right now and he has several successful business interests. What about 24/7 he gets paid for that. The man ain't no fool. People wish he were but thats not happening. Ask Fifty, that's why he got the **** on cause Mayweather is tight with his money and didn't go for that bull**** he was proposing.:bbb

It is probably more of a liquidity problem. I mean Mayweather or Pac could be broke and have no money in the bank and still be worth tens of millions. So I guess it better to be broke like them then like us.

As a *******/***** hater got to admit. If pac left arum & accepted 40mill it really isn't that bad.But when you take into consideration fight being probably the biggest in history & will generate 200+ mill easily That's way too much to give up Floyd would probably end up with 100-120 mill even pac aint that stupid.Floyd always got an excuse.
