Over the past five years alone they have raised the price by another $20. I am getting sick of this, it is just ridiculous. I usually buy ever good PPV, but with these prices I just can't afford to anymore. All other major sports are free regardless of the match up, but us boxing fans have to pay now $70 to watch a fight with the top guys in the sport. This is some bull****!
I have been refusing to pay for PPV for a long time now, but I just ordered the Pac fight for $70, it's absurd though. PPV will be $100 soon.
Get friends and have them pitch 5 bucks. Its not hard. beer + fights + friends= fun times...in which ever order you choose
Then don't buy it! Go watch it with a couple of friends or go to a nearby bar, buy some nachos and watch it there
That's what I am saying....it seems like they will just keep raising the prices every year. Do they not want people to watch the fights? Jesus Christ, we are in the middle or a recession and they want to charge people $70 just to watch a sporting event. I love boxing, but my days of buying PPV are close to an end.
Well none of my friends are into boxing like I am, so they are not willing to pay to see a fight. They always say they don't have to pay to watch NFL,NBA,MLB, so why they pay to watch this?
Bars are usually selective of what boxing PPV's they buy now days. I always look for that, but if they don't show it I am forced to buy it or wait a week and see the main event only.
Not really... All the bars up here in Toronto show the main boxing/UFC fights. I'm sure 90% of the bars out there WILL Show the Pacquiao/Floyd fights.
If you don't live in a major city or on the west coast they most likely arent gonna show the fight at a bar. UFC yes. Rarely boxing
