I don't approve Richard but I am guilty of engaging with Alts almost certainly.

My excuse is that I don't know who is who!

If I knew an Alt was someone who I don't care too much for I would probably avoid any discussion with them.

I would say there is only a VERY small list of people on here I don't rate though.

Maybe those in the know could name and shame some ALts?! :happy

Michael, I agree but some can be spotted a mile off. Last week someone wrote to DFTaylor, 'I've always disagreed with you'. This was in his second ever post, after joining this month!

TBH although I knew it existed I didn't realise it was quite so widespread, I just think it is quite pathetic really.

Open your eyes guys, do you honestly think a mod/admin of a forum wants to remove these accounts? They have all the tools available to run the checks and see the patterns, they CAN sort this out. It is an epidemic on the internet at the moment, the problem isnt the sad low lives who do it, but those that work on behalf of the beast, and do it for reasons in favor of the product. In other words, they are called plants.

Mods/admins dont want to do anything about it, because the more active accounts the better, the more controversy, the better, it = £, and thats why they do f8ck all about it, ive seen it time and time again.

It gets left as it is, and encouraged to carry on because of this.
