Tonight's fight between Kessler and Magee is for the WBA World Super-Middleweight title. The fight between Ward and Pavlik will be for the WBA "Super" World Super-Middleweight title. What does this mean? This is getting so stupid :think:thinkatschatsch:|:|
The WBA has set up a minor world title so lighten the mandaotry load on it's unifying titlists. Ward unified his WBA title by beating Froch. That elevated him to Super world champion and opened up a vacant minor world title.:huh Yeah, it's hoakie, but it's there way of elevating a unified WBA titlist.:yep
And who's fighting for the WBA "interim" World Super Middleweight Title? edit: that was Stanyslav Kashtanov, who beat Server Yemurlayev on a SD last month
WBA dont have those but they had GAmboa as unified WBA champ and then there was a regular, interim and super champ They had 4 champs in the division :rofl:rofl
I tripped and hit my hand on the kitchen cubberts last week, the WBA mailed me the Light Middle-Featherweight title and apparently my next defense will be against my dog's cage in Germany next month.
Dont forget Povetkin running around with that Happy-meal title too, and that they had three beltholders at middleweight: Sturm,Golovkin and Ndjikam :lol
A boxing governing body actually forced a mandatory? Love that the WBA super belt is only meant for people unifying, but people end up with that as their only belt then the belt exists forever
