Marquez looked slow and wide on the pads compared to usual. It appears as if the muscle gain will slow him down while being negligable in regards to power. I usually don't make predicitions, but it is a boxing site, so **** it. I may be wrong. I just think Pacquaio's speed will be the difference. He will throw the shorter, faster punches, and eventually catch Marquez.
You crazy? Marquez looks like a beast and more focused than ever! Almost got an air about him that HE IS going to win no matter what Pacquiao looked sh*t in the litte footage of him sparring Look out for that jab and right hand from Marquez tonight ladies...
Muscles don't mean much in boxing. Looks like Pacquaio concentrated on calesthenics, so he has that strong tendon strength, while Marquez concentrated on making his external muscles bigger and stronger. Pacquaio will have more snap and more endurance. Marquez may be fast initially, but his muscle gain will be detrimental in the late rounds when Pacquaio will likely get him.
I thought Pacquaio looked fast as hell. I'm glad he isn't focusing on that bull**** scientific training and got back to old school calesthenics.
Not from me. This time Marquez looked noticably slower, even if he has gained a little power. The speed and the muscle endurance will ultimately be the difference. Obviously, Pacquaio can't get reckless, but if fights smart, and tries to counter Marquez early, I think he can get aggressive late and take Marquez out. Pacquaio has to be cautious early. I expect them both to be tenative early, with perhaps Marquez pushing the fight more than usual if his muscle gain has given him confidence.
I doubt Pac will win by KO, Marquez guts and determination is a big factor preventing this to happen. If Pac could do it, a big applause for him ending once and for all this saga.
They better getting their roid excuses ready when it's pac who declined tests & Marquez who demanded but didn't get them .
