Interesting style matchup for sure, I think Barker may have a little too little to offer physically, however.

Barker/Hope isn't a proper SMW clash, Barker weighed in at 162 and a bit pounds, Hope at 161.5. Just one of those where there's no meaningful title on the line so no need for both guys to make the championship weight.

Weird that they have the IBF inter-thingy belt on the line though :huh

A wiser Kessler vs a tougher, possibly stronger Froch. Could be a great fight.

I don't see Magee as much of a threat, but the WAY in which Kessler deals with him will tells us a lot about Kessler's possible future in the division.

 

Stupid though isn't it. If that the weight they're coming in at they obviously have no intention to make the jump up to 168. It's like Danny Jacobs fighting at around 161/162 for his past couple of fights but he'll be pursuing title opportunities at 160.

With the IBF thing the winner will end up being ranked at 168. What's the point of wasting money on a sanctioning fee though? Unless Sky wanted a 'title' fight as the main event :dead
