    "I think you will see a different style, a more smart, careful style," Khan told Fight Hype. "In the past, we got too excited at times and tried to go in knocking the opponent out. I think this time, we're going to be more smarter, more wiser, we're going to pick the right shots, and we're going to show people what we've learned in the gym being with Virgil. So that's what they're going to see."

    Khan feels making the move to work with Hunter will enable him to get back to the top of the sport.

    He said: "I think with Virgil, I think he can take me to that next level now. I'm becoming a better defensive fighter and a more smart fighter. We have changed. You will see a change in my style and, you know, the way I fight. Don't get me wrong, we're still explosive and exciting to watch, but more smarter and more wiser.

    "I have speed, I have power, I have great footwork and movement. If you look at my last couple of fights, I've not been using them. I've just been going in there and having wars with people when I don't need to."

    Hunter says that he expects Khan to execute as the fight goes on, but isn't expecting an easy bout:

    "I felt that he needed an understanding of boxing. He needed more mental training instead of physical, and that that was going help him. Amir Khan has the physical ability to adapt to this understanding. I mean, it's not anything that he can't do if he understands why he's doing it and why he needs to do it. It's not like he has to be taught something.

    "He just has to have it mentally infused into him why he needs to do this, and then, when he's in the ring, he needs to be given examples of why he needs to do them. So he learns very quickly. ... (Molina is) a good fighter and he's going to be determined, and I don't think that it's going to be an easy fight. But as the rounds emerge, I expect for Amir to execute."

    it works really well considering that like a leopard cant change its spots, neither can amir. the way he is, his mentality, abilities and style are hard wired an.not much can be done with him.. he can make little adjustmnts at best

    2 docs to be coming on this thread v.soon relating to the pre-fight build up... one by SHO time the other by Sky Sports. Do tell if people from UK and vice versa and view them once posted.

    Couple of days to go. Khan gets too many chances. This is his last hopefully.

    Khan, contrary to his assertions, does not have power or great footwork. If he did, the speed advantage he enjoys over most fighters would become decisive.

    As it is, guys that bang and aren't afraid to get hit will always have his number. Rios, for instance, would walk right through this kid and stretch him.

    I find it funny that people are saying Khan got exposed by Garcia in reality he got exposed ever since he started fighting on ITV cable television long before the Prescott loss. His career has been managed really well and has had the right fights at the right time before coming to America.
