Carson is not a very good fighter. But the Brook fans were all saying he was a world class welterweight, a killer.

Not at all. Carson Jones had a point to prove in the Brook fight. He could of become the mandatory for the world title if he beat Brook. This fight tonight meant nothing. ****ing hell, Khan beat Kotelnik in more emphatic fashion than Alexander, doesn't mean Khan is better.

Maybe Jones was bamboozled by Byrne's style (which is much different to both Purdy's and Brook's). He was a late replacement after all. It was only 8 rounds too, maybe it was a case of Byrne nicking to first 3 or 4 which could get him draw result. If it were a full 12 then Carson would surely have gone on too win.

Dean Byrne is no world beater but when he left The Wildcard he took a massive dip in form. Freddie Roach actually tipped him to win a world belt.

We already new what level Jones was at because of his 9 previous losses. The Brook crowd claimed it was a new dedicated Carson Jones. It wasn't.
