Getting tired with the Degale hatred on here

He looked damn good tonight,he's made me a fan of late to be fair.

 

To finish people off instead of pouncing about slapping jabs, I hate groves but he would of ended the show.

 

I like Degale and for me the only negative was the whole Groves situation.

He acted like a fool and made himself look so stupid on Ringside IMO.

However, everyone deserves a second chance and I've seen plenty of interviews with him since and he seems like a nice guy.

I do think he gets undue crticism on here.

He is better than many would like to admit.

 

I'd like to see him stop leaning against the ropes MCing innit bruv

 

I have been no De Gale fan generally, but he seems to have improved his punching technique, looked good tonight so fair play to him

 

Just ignore the haters and take solace in the fact they are just miserable ****s who will never be happy.
Great performance, although the guy was made for him and thats the point at this stage of his career. Rebuild and get experience at different levels.

 

He's just not anywhere near as good as many make him out to be. But let's be clear, that was a decent performance where he still makes the same mistakes and shows the same flaws.

I can't believe a four year pro with so much amateur experience can't throw his left or right hook properly. He gets **** because he talked himself up so much, as did many of his moronic fans.

When he actually beats a genuinely good opponent without labouring, then he can have some praise. Right now he's a mouthy ***** who looks seriously average.

 

Rebuild what?

He's only lost one close fight FFS. He needs to be making less unforced mistakes.

 

James is a special talent, believe me. If you put him in there against someone who is a threat to him and he will shine.

 

Like George Groves perhaps?

 

He performed very well, his uppercut was superb tonight, as was the jab when he went to work.

He still lacks a bit of pop and that might be his downfall at world level, whether if he was behind on any scorecard, that he has something that is a leveller. I imagine he will be a world champion, but he might lose a couple on workrate, like against Groves.
