Either Pac's chin is gone or Marquez is now a superhuman puncher

1. Both guys have been talking about retirement for years now for a reason. They've both had a hell of a lot of wear and tear. Pacquiao's been hit quite a bit more, due to his style but they've both been through the ringer.
2. Marquez has always been able to hit.
3. When two elite fighters who can both punch face each other four times, you figure at least once someone will get the big one through that can end it. This was that Walcott/Charles type shot where it finally lands right and that's it.

 

Pac has been K.O'd twice before, he ran face first into a monster right hook and got flattened.

 

He got caught by two of the most perfect, flushest punches he's ever been hit by. Not many fighters at 147, or even maybe 154 would have stayed on their feet after those.

Glad he's ok, was worried for him.

It's called strength and conditioning, he developed his power. Boxing trainers like to claim that you're born with power but that's old school hocus pocus. Hopefully more boxers smarten up and realise the importance of proper periodised strength and conditioning.

I thought it was the first KD in which Manny was moving backwards hold alot about Marquez punching power.

They were perfectly well placed shots. I agree with Pac that he did get careless in the 5th and I figured if he kept charging in like he was doing to Marquez he was gonna get hit with a big punch and well it happen. I like Pac and have always enjoyed his fights, but a flash ko is never good for a boxer and should consider retiring.
