Either Pac's chin is gone or Marquez is now a superhuman puncher

Dude he's been caught with those same shots before, check out their other fights. He's taken no problem in the past. So like I said either Marquez has suddenly developed crazy punching power, or pacquiao chin is gone. Or it's both. Either way, Pac has never come close to being hurt like that since early in his career. It is definitely questionable .. but maybe that's what age/constant wars in the ring does to you.

This is incorrect, sorry. In previous fights, Marquez usually countered Pacquiao predominantly with a normal straight right, which while effective, never did that much damage. That's fighting within' yourself, not taking too much risk. Tonight, both of those shots were wide, powerful hooks that he really sat down on and turned his whole body into. Not to mention they were two of the most perfectly timed shots Pacquiao's ever likely been hit with. JMM said he was going for the knockout, and he wasn't kidding.

I don't see Manny dramatically declining because of tonight. He was beating up on Marquez and got caught with the perfect punch. **** happens. We'll see if Pac can recover. Sometimes fighters do and sometimes they don't.

I think it was a bad idea, though, for Marquez to hire a known dirty trainer and come in with a new, muscular physique. He's opened himself up to some skepticism, especially with the way this ended.

You're totally wrong here bro. Maybe i'll create gifs to show you, but lets start with the first knockdown

That looping right hand Marquez caught Pacquiao with was the same identical shot he hit paquiao with in the 3rd fight, and 1st and 2nd fights, and Pac didn't stumble or anything. Go look yourself.

The second shot? Marquez caught him with the same right hand in the 3rd fight when Pac rushed in to land a left. Identical punches bro.

Your telling me Pacquiao has never taken shots like that before? You have to be kidding me. He's taken bigger shots from bigger men.

The punches you don't expect hurt you the most which is a counter. The hardest punch is a hook. The effects of a punch are worse when you lean into one. In short, He got countered with a hook while overreaching as usual and was #Pacquiaoing ooops sorry I mean planking.

It was just a perfectly timed and placed punch.

It was perfect, but I too wondered what the OP has. It's natural to think that perhaps wear & tear has not helped punch resistance. The first knockdown was a shock enough. But Marquez put everything into that shot and it was perfectly timed. I also think Pac was sort of in the air and has legs not being under him didn't help. He didn't really have the stability when he took that perfect shot.

Watched the replay over and over. What a ****ing beautifully timed punch. Pacquiao should retire now. Would love to see a Rios-Marquez show down.

He didn't see the punch and it wrecked his chin.

Paul williams got ktfo out by a non-puncher who did the same thing.

Yep, that and he never saw them either. Pre Mosely Margarito is going down from that punch. Absolutely devistating.

Yea, the first kd punch was the same one from the third fight also. Except this one hit him much more cleanly.

Marquez is definitely a lot stronger for this fight. It doesn't help when Pac runs into punches.
