If JMM got that hit on Money May, would Money have hit the canvas?

yes, but it would have never landed as mayweather would not be caught dead leaping in like that.

my thoughts exactly. Any welter gets K.O'd by that shot, but marquez cannot land that on a guy like floyd.

Mayweather had his moment against Mosley, Mosley landed two huge rights, the second one was a punch that Mayweather NEVER saw and it was a bad, and if there was a punch he was going to get KO'd by it wouldve been that one.

Marquez had success with his right due partially to what pac was doing. Pac is easy to time for the right, if you step to the side because he puts himself out of position by leaping in and you can hit him in his blind spot, since the right is coming from the outside of his vision. The KO was almost Martinez like when he ko'd P.W... the punch was as perfect as it could be, had a lot of pop, and the set up was brillant... but the opponent he had in front of him pretty much walked into it. Mayweather does not walk into shots, so it's a what if question that is completely ridiculous.

Pac fought a more disciplined fight in the 3rd one.

Different style. Floyd does not walk into a punches like that. I was hoping before the fight that Manny would show us a jab and win in a way we never see him win, but boxing. I thought he could. But he fought his typical fight, which was good for some ,but maybe slowing down caught up to him. JMM did not think that right hand knocked out Manny, He was throwing left hook after it, but it missed because Manny was falling to the canvas, which shows that JMM didn't think it would stop Manny just by landing.

From the endless replays that I have seen, it looks as if Manny Pacquiao walked into a shot he didn't even see was coming. He had no idea the shot was even there. Floyd is too good, too measured, to ever really be caught with a shot like that. It's a pointless discussion.

Floyd, Manny, & Marquez are regional grade athletes. I will disregard these athletes until they face one of the following Euro-level superstars:

    Aslanbek Kozaev 23-0
    Dmitry Mikhaylenko 14-0
    Anton Novikov 26-0
    Roman Belaev 9-0
    Konstantin Ponomarev 18-0
    Jussi Koivula 12-0
    Valeriy Brazhnyk 29-0
    Stefan Stevanovic 11-0
    Dmytro Semernin 9-0
    Timo Schwarzkopf 8-0

Floyd leans back when he throws a jab.

Nah it wasn't that he was slowing down. he looked sharp in this fight, like he had the fire under him again. the problem was his aggression was not smart at times, it's almost like he had abandoned certain things he learned, just looking for the KO. his last fight with Juan was wayyy more discipline, he had a better defense, and came out of the fight at least looking like he won, even if he should not have gotten the decision on points, he definitely did more damage though. Them trying to make him fight like he did a while ago, was not a good strategy, it seemed to be based on the idea that he had nothing to fear from Marquez.
