very sad to see manny get knocked out like that but that was a beautiful counter, i remember he knocked down his sparring partner with that shot too.

There are many great fights to be made for juan but at the age of 39 he wont be able to take all of them.

    Broner
    Rematch with Mayweather
    Bradley
    Guerrero
    khan
    danny garcia
    etc?

I'd like to see him put an absolute schooling on Rios, personally.

If I'm JMM, I'd call it day by ending it on the highest of notes.

Floyd, Manny, & Marquez are all regional grade athletes. European athletes currently dominate the welterweight division. I will disregard American atheltes like Floyd and Marquez until they face at least one of the following Euro-level superstars:

    Aslanbek Kozaev 23-0
    Dmitry Mikhaylenko 14-0
    Anton Novikov 26-0
    Roman Belaev 9-0
    Konstantin Ponomarev 18-0
    Jussi Koivula 12-0
    Valeriy Brazhnyk 29-0
    Stefan Stevanovic 11-0
    Dmytro Semernin 9-0
    Timo Schwarzkopf 8-0

Let him retire. Not a lot of fighters can say they ended their career by knocking out a Fighter of the Decade award winner. Plus, he's 39. Nothing else to prove. Age could easily catch up to him especially against young fighters.

Manny should've retired after the Margarito fight if he were to retire on a high note.

in a way i do believe it makes sence, in a sence that it looked like marquez has improved, his physical condition. He just beat manny pacquiao the guy who was p4p boxer while floyd was gone and inactive for a while. Those two were supposed to have the super fight, even though marquez was beat easily. Im sure the mexican crowd will support marquez to the fullest.

Marquez Mayweather on May 4th would be crazy. They would hype it up as the new bigger muscalar Marquez and how Floyd wouldnt have the weight advantage this time around...

    hmmm not interested :-(

If he doesn't retire, he should knock Garcia out in similar fashion, get the titles at 140 and call it a day.
