How many people did Pacquiao give a free hotel and limo ride to to see him KTFO?

Not analogous at all, seeing as Juan Manuel Marquez is no Henry Cooper.

No. My point was that Foreman destroyed Frazier, who was the man who beat Ali. Ali went on to beat Foreman in unprecedented fashion. Regardless of how Manny-Floyd turns out, it's a different fight to the one that took place tonight. You don't get credit for beating someone who later goes on to beat someone else. Triangle theory doesn't work in boxing. You can personally think Floyd easily outboxes Manny, it doesn't matter unless it actually materializes. Otherwise every upset, every historic fight that ever gave surprises would be justified as never happening and fading into the imagined results from conventional wisdom.

I agree, tonight did make me think about that classic makeup of Foreman/Frazier/Ali. Nice shout. :good

Mayweather didnt win ****. He lost all the glory and opportunity of defeating Manny which would have sealed him as a top 5 of all time. This would be the case especially if he fought manny during 2009-2011.

Now he has lost that opportunity and the 100 million dollars he was approximated to make..

He will just end up in debt and the IRS will be after his ass again. He will fight a couple of sub par fighters and retire again..

Talk is cheap. If Floyd really could have beaten prime Manny, then he is the big loser here because his ATG status will always take a hit from having never taken the fight

:patsch..and Floid's mongoloids are out in full force taking vicarious credit out of JMM's well-deserved victory.:happy

Pac getting ktfo is not even as pathetic as this piggybacking & self-imagined surrogate victory...

So, just to clarify, the biggest winner lost the BIGGEST PAY DAY THAT HE WOULD HAVE EVER OF HAD and he is somehow the winner in all of this? Great logic, skip.

Mayweather is a great great fighter but lets not add Pacquaio's name to his resume hypothetically.
