Very satisfied w/ the outcome that I've never predicted coming... Satisfied due to the fact that this fight brought all the variables on which makes me love boxing soo much!

JMM timed both right hands accordingly (1st kd & 2nd final KO shot). He mixed in some good body shots as well. Pacquiao had something to prove as much as Marquez and it showed greatly until the KO shot, he was winning despite the kd. Pac showed better use of his feints that we are accustomed to seeing.

This KO is the knockout of the year. Also, I would assume if the fight continued, it would have been fight the year candidate!

Bad year for Freddie Roach. His fighters are dropping like flies (no pun intended)... By no means did Pacquiao show any major regression during the fight that fight fans are hinting too. He looked great! Showing great movement, letting go fast combinations on the inside, and getting in the straight left at will. Manny being Manny got baited in and blasted out! But Marquez being methodical and persistent pulled through and showed why is an ATG/Hall of famer. So I guess it goes JMM>Morales>MAB. But Morales is still a G haha

Both fighters should retire. But it seems pac has a contract w/ top rank to adhere to. I'm pretty sure Pacquiao could handle his KO loss better than Hatton and live happily ever after. Pac is all class!

Overall, a C+ undercard. Fresna is a warrior just like the great Penelosa. Gamboa's chin is suspect though, but the guy is built like a tank for a super featherweight and I expect great things from him.

50 Cent was horrendous! But, wish him well as a promoter.

The only thing that bothered me was the way Gesta fought and acted throughout his bout. Showed that he was a good prospect during his previous fights. But was too tentative and showed that he was unable to cut-off the ring for this bout.

Great night for Boxing and fight fans all around!

    Just to add.

In the final segments of the broadcast, when Lampley was making his final statements. It seems like he was about to bust out in tears for some odd reason...

Props for pac going out on his shield. Makes us fans proud! Hoping he retains his health in the long run.

Agree with most of your sentiments about the undercard.

The Main Event really was something else. You couldn't write this ****. Imagine how bad someone would be laughed off if they came in describing what happened?

"I think Manny's going to get off to a good start, showin his better speed, but as always Marquez makes things close. But eventually JMM is going to catch Pacquiao early and drop him, probably right a looped right hand, Manny's always a sucker for those and Juan has been workin on his power. At that point Pac's gonna go into beast mode and then probably knock JMM down with a left, but JMM is a warrior he'll get up. It's going to be a war and Marquez is gonna have to survive Pacquiao's onslaught, he's going to want the KO, and when he does, I think Juan's gonna put Pac to sleep. He's huge and Manny is always lunging, I predict he's gonna catch Pac with a bomb and get the KO once and for all for Mexico."

    I mean, really? :lol::patsch

    haha I would've repleid, "you're on the good ****!"

I think Puga Ni Nana posted on another thread. Not sure about the other two.

I am glad I was able to witness it, as most probably dismissed this fight as being the "rinse, repeat, and dry" type of fight.

Marquez must be high on emotions right now!

The best thing is that this fight year calendar isn't even over yet!
