Very happy for Marquez, great fighter and great guy,was robbed 3 times against pacman, made it certain this time,he's the winner tonight obviously, got his win, cemented his legacy as the 2nd best mexican fighter ever after Chavez in my opinion, the loser sadly is us the boxing fans,Floyd and Manny never wanted to fight each other, two biggest and best fighters of the last decade, never got it on,will never happen now, boxing pisses on loyal boxing fans..

Manny and floyd would never have lived up to the hype. This fight was for more entertaining than pac floyd would ever have been

The Pac Manny fight should of happened years ago. Thats when it was prime ATG v prime ATG.
It dont matter who stopped it from going through, it just didnt happen.

All the talk these days was just beating a dead horse. Only as a way for two sets of fans to get at eachother.

    ____

Next reason is many felt Marquez was robbed in the last fight and had won previously as well in their other fights, this was a great 4 fights but now we can finally say out of MP and JMM that JMM is the superior boxer.

    ____

Also for taking fights like this for a fourth time, especially after the **** Pac has been taking for his matchups, it was more than deserved. This hype train has finally come to an end.

Now that all the talk of May Pac will have finished, it gives other fighters the opportunity to be seen and given the chance to shine infront of the general public.

The MP v FMJ fight was dead, loyal boxing fans as you put it want to watch other matches. If anything that fight had been holding boxing back since 2009.

We have to accept Pacquiao Mayweather was never going to happen as Mayweather had zero interest in it. Too risky a fight, 50 cent has said he would look for excuses to avoid Pacquiao. Mayweather will continue to cherry pick his way to retirement, his fans lapping it up. That would have happened even if it was Pacquiao who KO'd Marquez in the 6th round

It's not really Marquez's fault for both Manny and Floyd not being able to make the greatest fight of their era.

It was past its sell by date but still would have been one of the biggest fights ever and judging by comments on eastside every day people still wanted to see,was still the biggest fight that could be made in boxing..

What are you talking about ? Marquez wins, boxing wins. When I think of boxing, Juan Manuel ****in' Marquez comes to mind first.
