ur right dude..peds are an amazing advantage...when i say 70 percent i say that with authority and although it maybe an exaggeration ,it's to impress upon people that a fighter who is a great boxer even in his latter years , can be a devastating puncher!...the sad part is, no one cares!...cause they assume that testing will catch a cheater ....no...the tests are a joke after they've cycled off...the only way is to suprise test like the olympics and even then its a crapshoot
You may be right about the reality of sport and the effectiveness of PEDs but of all the fighters out there, Marquez is the last one I would think of taking that sh*t. He is been in there for more than 25 years, he has too much pride and honor to get into that wagon.
I think he got sick of being cheated by the judges and said '**** it, if they can cheat, then so can I'.
I certainly hope not. I know I sound naive as **** but I just don't want to believe it. Would be too much of a shock that I would give up on boxing :deal
once a cheat, always a cheat. they knew they'd get caught if they tried extra testing which is why they didn't push for it. its cool though, most if not all of his wins'll have an asterisk by it anyway starting with diaz
if they can pass all tests and be on **** then why the **** is it ever a big deal for any rich world level athlete to accept testing of any sort ILL TELL YOU WHY. BECAUSE IT CAN BE ****ING DETECTED!
i dont know if manny cheated at all in his career but id give him the benefit of the doubt because he never tested positive (though it backfires on him because he turned down testing and walked away from the biggest fight inboxing history) which left a bit of a cloud over squeeky clean image
