interesting ie bull**** beat froch dec 2011- gets put in P4P at #7 slowly rising up the ranks while not fighting for the majority of 2012 in his only fight of the year he beats a drained Dawson- magically at #2
1. Marquez 2. Mayweather 3. Ward 4. Donaire 5. Pacquaio 6. Martinez 7. Wladamir 8. Bradley 9. Mares 10. Broner Its very hard to make a list, so many ways they are interchangable. Knee-jerk reaction maybe, but I think Marquez deserves the top spot because he was top 5-6 before the fight and beat Pacquaio who I ranked joint #1. Mayweather hasn't done enough for me in the last few years to be guaranteed his top spot: Its difficult to know where to place him, he is probably the best fighter on the list but he doesn't fight enough and made heavy weather of Cotto who was subsequently beaten pretty soundly by Trout. Ward might be a little high at 3 and Martinez too low at 6. I think Broner just about scrapes in because he would start favourite against most opponents from 130-140, still a bright future ahead for him.
True, but its difficult to know who to put ahead of him: Marquez and Mayweather should be (if you are counting Mayweather), wouldn't have a problem having Martinez or Donaire ahead of him either. I do think he is being over-estimated a wee bit on some of these lists, but its close so its subjective.
1 - Mayweather 2 - Ward 3 - Marquez 4 - Martinez 5 - Donaire 6 - Wladamir 7 - Gamboa 8 - Bradley 9 - Mares 10 - Nishioka 11 - Froch 12 - Pacquiao
Isn't Nishioka retired? Not a bad list but I'd have Marquez above Ward. I still have Pacquaio higher in my list (5-6) due to he beat Bradley (unofficially) in his 2nd last fight and was winning against Marquez UNTIL the KO.
