Marquez was just stepping up at welterweight to fight Mayweather without tune ups before. Things would be different if they fought now.
And remaining undefeated is a matter of opinion. As far as I am concerned Floyd is not undefeated.

Hopefully you understand to keep trap shut about P4P-crap when meeting normal people.

    It's absolutely childish.

should be #1 or #2 Mayweather hasn't fought in a long time and Ward is fighting Pavlik next after fighting a weight drained Dawson,

Sure, but does fighting (and struggling) a faded (if not past primed) Cotto grants you the P4P seat king ?

I guess every person he ever beat is going to forever fork their wins over to Floyd on the list no matter how many years later? What kind of logic is that?

I guess Chris John is also the P4P king and Ward holds a win over Hopkins.

no but if memory serves well floyd was number 1 then manny came. You have to dethrone the king in my eyes. most people list before last night floyd was tied for first with manny. Manny was first or Floyd was number one. Floyd destroyed marquez doesnt matter how or when he beat marquez with ease. I could see people justifying JMM number 1 if he hadnt lost to floyd already but thats not the case. Beating cotto doesnt i agree with you but dont try to throw in struggling in there. People ***** floyd just out boxes everyone its boring, now that he stood toe to toe, well floyd looked bad doing it.

Fair enough. Do you have Chris John P4P number at Marquez's place then ?
And for the record I have no problem with people having Floyd at number one.

We don't agree on much but we agree on this. JMM is greater p4p than Ward irrefutably

Eh, Pacquiao runs into a huge shot in a close fight with the guy you rank no.2 and suddenly hes not even top 10 anymore.

You've Bradley there who Pacquiao should have a w over.
