With or without Floyd, Pacquiao will go down as one of the all time greats. This loss doesn't change that. Like skills, I gave up on Floyd/Pac 2 years ago. To see Pac laid out like that? Sad day. We are watching the twilight of an ATG career. Never thought I would see my all time favourite fighter get knocked out like that. Whatever he decides, he can be proud of a great career.

I think Pacquiao from the Cotto fight would have soundly beaten Mayweather. It's all opinion, of course, but given the fact that Pacquiao wanted to fight him and Mayweather rolled out a long list of excuses to not make it happen, I'd be inclined to think that the fighters had the same opinion I did.

Not that I really care about that fight. Pacquiao has a far greater legacy than Mayweather does and he'll go down as one of boxing's proudest warriors. Mayweather will be highly regarded as a technician but won't ever get the love that Pacquiao has. He and Marquez have been a part of the greatest series of fights in the history of sport, and that won't ever be forgotten.

Pacquiao will be missed when he retires. He's an all action fighter, who will fight anyone and win or lose, he's always humble. He's the perfect fighter.

I believe Mayweather would have beaten Pac, but the bolded is nonsense. Pacquiao walked onto a bomb, flush on the chin.

it's rich of you to have a go at any sets of supporters the way you go on about Kell Brook.

Anyone who still had that fight high on their list of priorities last night probably thinks Frank Bruno is an ATG.
That fight died in 2010 and was a mismatch to anyone who knew their onions.

It was way too much of a match for Floyd, given that it actually was one.

What do people think is next for Marquez? I'd be surprised to see him pack in after he just knocked out a solid-chinned fighter in Pacquiao. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Mayweather looked for a rematch, but I'd much rather see him fight at 140.

Sounded like Rios really wants Garcia tbh.

Is Marquez actually under contract with TopRank? If he's not, I can honestly see a Mayweather rematch.

Tim Bradley would be a good fight, I think Marquez will eat him as well?

I don't think Rios will get Garcia really, Promotions don't really do bussiness and Haymon will probably want him to face other opposition.

Yeah never know could well happen, Floyd can try claim he's taught Marquez a lesson and he's become a better fighter. Juan can claim the rock carrying lost him the fight. Will sell PPV's again probably..
