Pitt has stamina issues from the fight i last watched. Zac might be able to take him into deep waters
Geale will wear him down with his high work rate and catch him in the late rounds. I think mundine will be in survival mode after a few rounds .He will want to go the distance so as not to embarras himself.
any reason why this fight is on midweek and not on a Fri or Sat evening? i believe i am 11 hours behind Sydney so if it is on 9 your time, that would be 10am over here?
Hi mate, in Australia the promoters generally like to have big fights/ppv on a Wednesday night so that they are not competing against others sports such as rugby league, afl, football which are very popular for sports fans on the weekend. On a Wednesday night here there is nothing much on so it will increase the possibility of higher ppv sales and attendances at the fight venue.
Nice one mate :thumbsup. i suppose at the end of the day it's just tradition as well. why do we have our soccer matches generally 3pm on a Saturday and not say 7.45 on a Friday night etc. You will be getting used to your boy Geale fighting more on a Saturday (Sunday in your case) now, and it is looking likely to be the case in the future as well. I was kind of looking forward to this. May try and find some radio station and catch it at work.
http://www.smh.com.au/sport/boxing/flight-risk-for-mundine-20121208-2b28w.html Im sure something will be worked out. I am surprised his father works another job. Thought training Anthony would be his full time job.
Mundine is being underrated here, this fight will be closer than most are predicting. Yes Mundine has been feasting on bums for a long time but I still rate him as a better fighter than Sturm & Sylvester.
Debatable perhaps, but the only thing that matters now is whether he is better than Geale. I think not.
Maybe he's as stingy with his dad as he is with his undercard fighters and pays him a wage with tickets to sell for his fights as payment. :rofl:rofl:rofl
