****....a lot. Take Your pick of sound bites from boxers who've been KO'd, and after coming to offered every excuse in the book in why the lost or how it was a lucky shot.:rofl the norm these days is blaming a loss or avoiding a certain fight becuase they're on PEDs. without any evidence is what makes these excuses even more embarrassing. Pac handled the situation well in not making any excuses and giving Juan his respect as his greatest competitor.

He got caught. God or not... Your really not created to absord punches to the head. He boxes, he gives punches, takes punches, and God has blessed him with some amazing skills, guy makes more $ in a commercial than you do in a lifetime, and he can walk away humble and know he's blessed regardless.
That's the stuff that tears people like you up. That he beleives in something beyond himself, he's happy, he's a blessed guy. Obviously he didn't want to get knocked out, but theres more important things to life than boxing.
Nowhere in the bible God promises you won't get knocked out, nowhere it says you will win every single fight (figurative or literally), but does promise he'll be with you in good or bad times . Clearly says "you will go through trials and tribulations", and God will turn seemingly bad things around for our good if we love him and trust him.
Pac could of tryed to accuse JMM of being on roids, but didn't. Could of said he was winning, JMM got lucky, etc but he didn't. Guy beleives in what he's saying... I'm proud of Pac. In life we get to show off God more, we get to show our character not when were going through easy/ good times, but in the bad times.

TL;DR. How many excuses are you going to make for Manny getting KTFO!

    • He has a lot of haters for the garbage (lies and excuses) that he and his representatives spewed when ducking Floyd.
    • He has haters because of the limited, carefully picked opposition he has faced, and the credit he gotten for it.
    • He has haters because his fans treat him like a God, and comment based on emotion rather than logic and actual boxing knowledge.
    • He has haters because of the undeserved accolades that have been heaped on him by the media.

I think that the Manny persona is quite fabricated, but I think that the guy is genuinely gracious in defeat.

As the recipient of a gift, there are two ways to handle a robbery.
    1) Act like you won.
    2) Own the fact that you lost.

*******s hated Timothy Bradley for frontin' like he won the fight, but Manny did the same thing against JMM in the third.

Pacquiao is a huge credit to this sport and anyone who can't see that is either a dick or not a real boxing fan.

No, he's not a huge credit to this sport! He makes 25 million while Marquez makes 3 million? How is that good for the sport?

Pacquiao has haters because they resent his talent and success. Mayweather has some people jealous of his undeniable talent and maybe some racist bull****, but most just think he's a fat *****.

The primary difference, it seems to me, is that haters resent Pacquiao while people are disappointed in Mayweather. I'll let you guys figure out which one's worse.

No. It's that Pac is selectively reported based on good deeds whereas Mayweather is selectively reported based on bad deeds. Floyd does as much, and probably more, charity as Manny but its seldom (if ever) discussed in the media. Pac's bar trips / infidelity / and homophobic/bible-ranting beliefs are only discussed in a good light and never unbiased.

Floyd is only brought up as a villain, which is the role he chose to play, but a journalist is supposed to uncover things and write informative pieces. Not more of the same built on bull****.
