    He could have pivoted and take it on the shoulder. We will never know. The point is there was a foul. The fact that refs let small fouls slide does not make them OK especially in cases where fouls affect the outcome. Next thing you say that somebody landing a low blow should win by KO because "everybody does it" and "it is part of the game".

    I told Manny not to go toe to toe with a toe stomper like Marquez. Manny didnt get a chance to block the punch becuase he foot was held down. He would usually bring the right leg up and block the punch with his calve

    It was not planned by Marquez. I do think the foot issue disrupted Manny's concentration, but that is how knockouts happen. I remember when Marlon Starling (who had a good chin) was stopped by Tomas Molinares. The bell sounding and Marlon being just a little relaxed made him stay down for the count.

    The point is his concusion was as RESULT OF A PUNCH TO THE FACE AND if marquez legs touched his legs or whatever you are tryint to clAIM, THE outcome would have been the same!
