Ward has the best resume in boxing right know. He's the man until proven otherwise. Ward Marquez Martinez Floyd did jump to 154 to beat Cotto, but that isn't enough. I need to start a "what have you done for me lately" movement.
JMM has a great victory...but no way he jumps Floyd...and he would still get shut out NOW! JMM was not winning against Pac...i had Pac winning he fight till the KO. JMM just has Pac's pattern down to a science and his timing was PERFECTION.
Honestly, i dont get why some people have Gamboa in their top 10....Dude has been out for like 15 months, and didnt exactly look all that great against a game but B level at best Farenas. Brian Viloria definetly needs more props.
:rofl *******s have become even more unglued. They are trying to hype up Marquez but completely ignore the fact Mayweather shut Marquez out in their fight.
No need to hype up Marquez, the man's career did that convincingly and his KO win over Manny is better than any of Floyd's wins.
I can't rank him THAT high because I don't think Marquez is that much of an unstoppable force that everyone else does. I think he has, and always has had Pacquiao's number. The tide was turning on Saturday before the KO, and I could see quite a few people giving Marquez problems. I think a fight with Bradley would be really close, and I see Canelo putting him through a meat grinder. Would probably also have Cotto putting the hurting on him too. We're only two years from Katsidis giving him some serious problems, so I'd see a super version of Kats in Cotto doing much more.
