It has nothing to do with me, or my dignity. This is about Arum, Pac, Floyd and Haymon. And Arum just ate Haymon's lunch. And both know it.

No, this seriously damages Mayweather's legacy. He demanded extra drug testing. JMM did not. He wouldn't fight Pac. JMM did, and KTFO of Pac.

That "Scarlet Letter," so to speak, will always be on Floyd's resume. Always. And there is no way that Arum will let him change it.

It was one thing if they never fought each other and Pac kept winning. Then, Floyd or his supporters might be able to play the PED game. But with this result, and the no drug testing, Floyd just ran into the wall.

Game over. Floyd's rep is gone. He let JMM take his heat, take his win. That will never be erased.

What JMM is about to get as a fighter is what Floyd could have had if he had the guts to take on Pac. He didn't, and now he's going to take a heavy resume and legacy hit.

If anything it has taken the ****** of fighting Pac of Mayweathers back.

He beat the guy who beat Pac 3 times and knocked him out.

Mayweather never felt like he needed Pac, and has always thought Pac has piggybacked of his name.

The real loser is Pacquiao, because he has been used and has had his future earnings take a hit.

Once he looks over the whole thing he will be pissed with his advisors for telling him to turn down the 40 mill. Even if he fights on, its doubtful that he will even make 40 mill in future earnings.

This is what Mayweather has said about it

How does this article support your thesis?:

for the 10 count! Revenge is sweet but success is sweeter! The latest fight in this series evens things up if you consider the outcome. Marquez no longer needs to complain about being robbed or denied victories he felt he legitimately earned but was never given – this win erases all of that.

So where does this leave the superfight we are all waiting for? Mayweather/Pacquiao?

IMHO, a Mayweather/Pacquiao fight was never the ‘end all’ fight that ALL boxing pundits claimed it was. And to say that Floyd ‘waited out’ Pacquiao’s prime would be a ludicrous statement considering Floyd is about 2 years older than Pacquiao – so he’d be waiting out his own prime also. The biggest fight(s) out there for Floyd Mayweather Jr. involve Canelo Alvarez and Sergio Martinez. The Martinez fight is much more makeable now with Pacquiao out of the way. Id’ much rather see this fight than a Pacquiao fight anyday.

So what did Floyd lose? A chance to say that he was the best of his era? Maybe! A $100M payday? Another Maybe! A Canelo fight will earn Mayweather ½ of that $100M and a Sergio Martinez fight will earn Mayweather the other half! And he would be considered the best of his era after beating these guys. Another thing that negates Mayweather from being the biggest loser is that it wasn’t him that got KO’d Saturday night.

The biggest loser(s) in this writers opinion are Top Rank, Manny Pacquiao and…Freddie Roach.

Obviously you didn't read the text, but posted this article which actually opposes your view, after reading the title. You sir, are an imbecile.

I find it strange how *******s have this obsession with Mayweather.

They go to such lengths to try to prove that Pac is better than Mayweather.

Yeah my comparrison with Lewis fits in more ways too. Tyson is known for being the wrecking machine he was. His legacy was solidified before the fight. The age thing didnt really effect the fight. Lewis needed the Tyson fight because he was a mid-level fighter in terms of excitement, while Tyson didnt need the fight because it was mahfuking Mike Tyson. I feel Tyson is to Pacquiao what Mayweather is to Lewis, although this situation is MUCH bigger.

For the Mayweather die hards who think I'm being biased, I'll switch it around for your perspective. If Mayweather was to get knocked out by Cotto in their last fight, Pacquiao would have cheated himself out of being the guy to knock off the undefeated legend that Mayweather is, and would have regretted never doing that.

It's unfortunate that all May can do now is salvage things by fighting Pac. He can prove that he is better now, but the edge is gone. Pacquiao's super human cloak is gone, and even though I feel his skillset and everything else remains untarnished, the god-like persona is gone and he's just another fighter like everyone else. Floyd doesnt get that magic moment of lifting the veil and it's unlucky because if they had got it done, the fight might have gone down as one of the most important of all time, and that huge piece of boxing legacy would have been outstanding for their careers. This one great punch will be shown as an unfortunate moment in Pacquiao's late career, and as the defining moment of Marquez'. But it's not really going to stand the test of time. The rivalry itself is one of the greatest, but it doesnt change the game like it would have for Floyd to have held Pacman's scalp.

You ever heard the phrase "headline reader?"

Many people don't read articles, they read headlines. Here is the title of the article:

"And the biggest loser is….Floyd Mayweather Jr"

    That's not good.

And, this is important: The thesis of the article is that Floyd did NOT lose big on Saturday. Why do you think the author wrote the article?

    To counter things like this:

    http://www.*****.net/2012/12/50-cent-whos-fool-who-lost-100million.html

You don't get it. Mayweather is out talking because he knows how this makes him look. So, he's trying to turn public opinion. Which is saying: Why didn't Floyd fight him if it was that easy?

It's over, my friend. All over.

    That's right.

And that's why I wrote this post: Arum will now never, ever make Pac-May. Because he knows what this does to Mayweather's legacy.

    Checkmate.
