What are some of the most technical fights you know of? Real chess matches such as: Ezzard Charles vs Harold Johnson Willie Pastrano vs Harold Johnson etc
Haha was about to say Charles-Johnson so Charles-Marshall 2 gets my vote. Along with: Carbajal-Gonzales 1 Whitaker-Chavez Jones-Mccallum Hill-Hearns Duran-Dejesus 2
Toney-McCallum 1 McCallum-Curry McCallum-Watson McCallum-Kalambay Whitaker-McGirt Napoles-Cokes Napoles-H.Lewis O.Canizales-B.Adams Reggie Johnson-James Toney Reggie Johnson-JD Jackson JMM-Chris John Ricardo Lopez-R.Alvarez II K.Buchanan - I.Laguna
Who did you score the first fight for??? I had a draw, but I am also biased as a big appreciator of Laguna. Buchanan answered any questions in the 2nd one however.
Its been a while since i saw it and my memory isnt very good dont really remember who i score the fight for the only thing i remember is that it was a good technical fight between two world class operators. I also have the second one but have not seen it yet gonna check it out in the near future.
Hopkins-Tarver, granted it was very one sided. Toney-McCallum I Leonard-Hearns I and II Hearns-Hill Mayweather-Judah, became one sided after the first few rounds, though Morales-Barrera I, II, and III, all 3 of which occured in war form.
These are the fights I use when telling people that technical/tactical don't always equate to boring. Just means fought with skill and strategy which they were. JMM/Barrera too.
