Indeed, Marquez fought as he always does and looked confused/troubled in the first two rounds with Pacquiao's changes.

How can anyone rule out the possibility that he might be using given his involvement with Heredia? PED use is the norm today, not the exception. Athletes just aren't getting caught because drugs aren't being detected in the tests.

Na same could be said about Floyd and Hopkins. They were looking ripped after 35. Plus Jmm is a short, stocky dude. He's always had big shoulders if anything he looks more ripped, more defined. But to be honest with or without them Pacman should of blasted him out yrs ago. Marquez is 39 yrs ffs.

Definitely and I can't argue otherwise. Still, Marquez barely looked supernatural for me to believe that. If anything, he was the one in serious trouble numerous times in this fight, cut and bleeding heavily.

Marquez looked slower and more unbalanced and was getting punished like never before before the stoppage. He had a broken nose and concussion. He looked tired aswell.

Looks like what happens when you do heavy lifting sacrificing ability and stamina for power to me.

Sergio Martinez, Bernard Hopkins, Carl Froch etc.

    Where's the suspicion there?

Thought the times held itself to a higher standard than this.

But it's alright, Manny is loved and people are trying to find a way to reason it out.

Pretty much all top fighters are on PED's these days anyway.

If Marquez was juicing, why not put on a bit more muscle to match Pac at 146-147? Don't tell me speed--Marquez is a counter-puncher and relies primarily on timing and intelligence. Marquez's stature reeks of... legitimacy.

Landing that shot had everything to do with Marquez's boxing ability and incredible physiological reaction times to certain punches and movements, but the effect of the punch would definitely be increased by anabolic steroids. Just like how Bonds started hitting the ball further on average during his home runs in his late 30s, it gives you unnatural strength and if you're training sports-specific for explosiveness and power, you're going to see big increases there also. That said, I'd guess Pacquiao has been supplied and used performance enhancers in the past courtesy of Alex Ariza. These trainers have easy access to PEDs. Hell, I could send anybody on here a PM with emails/product-lists of a number of suppliers. They're not that hard to find. And I trust Conte's word that it's rampant over naive fans who don't think it is.

Marquez has got better over a few fights at 140 or above the 1st time being back in 2009 then what 2 years later people talk as if he was a runt 1 training camp then a tank.

How anyone can think this isn't sufficient time to put on good lean muscle is beyond me.
