Pac won both rounds. The 4th was close, though.

I havr the first round to Pacquiao, though a draw is acceptable. Pacquiao clearly won the.other rounds though, bar the one he was knocked down in. I can't understand how people had Marquez up, apart from Rafael who is a ****ing idiot. Pacquiao was up by either two or three rounds.

    1. Pac(activity)
    2. Pac(no argument for Marquez. Liked Pac's work a bit more)
    3. 10-8 Marquez. Doing very well even before the knockdown. Clear JMM round.
    4. Pac
    5. Pac 10-8
Thought Pac's activity was edging the rounds close but clear.

All well and fine for you to claim that offhand, but can you back it up?

    Why?

You acknowledge the 1st's closeness, great.

    Now...

    Justify giving Pac the 4th.

    Enlighten us, o wise one.

I expect full paragraph breakdowns of all five. I'm particularly interested to see what you have to say about the 1st (extremely close, edged by Marquez's body work that seems to be ignored by many) and 4th (rather clear for Marquez IMO, Pac was still recovering from the knockdown)

The 2nd was clearly Pac's, and the 3rd and 5th are 10-8 automatic to each respectively, so we'll leave those alone.

The 1st and 4th are the ones subject to real debate here. (although only the 1st should be)

Round one was razor thin. I gave it to Pac, but can see it going either way.

At the time of the stoppage, I had Pac up by a point, about to be two, and gaining some decent momentum.

Funny you should say that. I remember someone in the RBR, may have timeout, literally say something like 'Pacquiao round. Marquez only landed a few body shots'.

As if bodyshots don't count. Maybe not in Pacland. :patsch

    Round 1: Pac
    Round 2: Pac
Round 3: JMM (Knock Down) 10-8
    Round 4: PAC
Round 5: PAC (Knock Down) 10-8
Round 6: JMM (The most incredible KO of the year :!:)

All the rounds were competitive but in every round Manny was the aggressor who landed more, had the better connect percentage and inflicted the most damage.

The only shot that matter was the one that ended the fight. That was some real epic type **** with how Juan came back and found that shot at the very last second of the 6th round. One of my favorite fights that I've had the opportunity to watch live.:bbb

    47-46 Marquez.

First round was the only true "swing round" of the contest. Everything else was pretty easy to call for me. Pac clearly controlled the second, and Marquez just as clearly controlled the fourth. Both KD rounds were clearly 10-8, for different reasons. In the case of the KD at the 3rd, it was because it was a HARD kd, so despite the fact he was doing well, Marquez gets the two point edge. In the case of kd in the 5th, it was a flash kd, but Pac hurt him pretty badly at the end of the round.

So 47-46 for either fighter is acceptable, imo, depending on whether you liked Pac's aggression and shots upstairs or Marquez's D and bodywork.
