Obviously, yes. That had to do with him working on power for this fight rather than speed I think. Though if you watch the second fight, Marquez did something similar in combinations though late in the second round where he stunned/rocked Pacquiao. That's how Marquez generally fights, he would mostly set up baits and counter or charge in with bombs of his own unexpectedly, he's very unpredictable and smart. In this fight he focused more on power clearly with his approach, even his counters looked like he had venom all over them every time he tried to land.

Indeed. He wanted to knock Pacquiao out or down every time he countered, you can clearly see it if you watch the fight again.

It's 100% accurate and I've yet to go back and see a repeat of the fight (probably later tonight). Pacquiao was/seemed bothered by just about everything Marquez was landing clean.

Have to say it no amount of muscles can give you great timing !!

Marquez won because he is a master of the sweet science not the master of PED's ..

Any shocking result will always bring ridiculous accusations, nothing new here.

I suspect he is on something too, but we will likely never know. And no, I am not ruling out that Manny is/has been on something also. I like both fighters very much, but there will always be questions regarding the possible use of performance enhancing drugs in their careers.

100% agree...however....Being able to withstand and take the amount of punishment Juan absorbed was something to be in awe over...most men wouldn't have made it out of round 5 after that many flush, straight left hands that PAC was feeding Juan.

The fact that after round fight and after 2:59 of getting dominated in round 6....Juan was skillful and had the vision to see the opportunity and capitalize on it. That's a special ability from a master boxer. Juan laid a trap and PAC fell right in.

People just can't accept what happen, so they accuse Marquez of cheating. Keep in mind, this is not the first or second time Pac been KOd. He's been KOd by much smaller men in the pass. What we should be looking at is, how were bigger men hitting Manny with flush shots and couldn't drop him, but the smaller men was able to do so?

Other than Floyd, Manny earns the most money. Not only for himself but he brings in millions for the sport as well. Pacquiao wasn't the only one who lo$t this past weekend. On top of that it wasn't an American fighter that beat him. It was a mexican who lives and trains out of Mexico with a Mexican trainer. Expect the onslaught to contnue.

Furthermore, the top earner, Floyd is an not only American but also is African- American. Coroporate America isnt too happy right now.

When Manny was trying to finish him and Marquez just stood there with out holding you have to attribute that to 2 things his boxing IQ and his Mexican pride ! No supliment can give that **** ! And lets not act surprised lets not forget the hell he went through in their first encounter the man is a warrior no doubt about it ..
