Did prime SMW Jones Jnr, ever fight a young big punching SMW as good as G Groves?

    Yes Toney was young but he was apparently very weight weakend and not really as big a puncher as Groves who puts (Lights Out :yep)

    Weight weakened?

    A 5'9 guy was weight weakened at 168??

    Where he was chamo and had been 160 champ only a couple of years previously?

    Give me a break.

    The guy could probably still make 168 if he would just train and stop eating crap!

    And he was KO'ing guys for fun back then..better fighters than the ones Groives fought!

    How do you think toney was better, when looking lucky against Tiberi?

    If Toney was drained then his punch may have been weakend

    If he just stood there with his eyes closed and let another decent professional SMW hit him,then yes he prob would have been KO'd.

    However,the real question is, do I think Groves would land a punch in an actual fight and KO prime RJJ? NOT IN A MILLION YEARS!

    Was John Ruiz weakened? Or maybe he justb didnt hit harder than Groves?

    Also Toney was a champion, considered a p4p top tier fighter.

    Who exactly has Groves beat that would make you think hes a big puncher?????

    I see people are mocking Bailey's thread without so much as trying to refute his incredible insight. All I will say is, if Groves landed on Roy's Glass Jaw, it would be goodnight Vienna. Groves is a brutal KO artiste, Jones' kryptonite.
