Did prime SMW Jones Jnr, ever fight a young big punching SMW as good as G Groves?

    I doubt he would have took the test either, if he fails the test against tripe like Richard Hall then i'm pretty sure he would be loaded to the hilt to take on a once in a lifetime ko artiste like George Saint Groves.

    I think another point is that Groves has shown he can handle someone with a strong Olympic pedigree. DeGale = Gold, Jones = Silver

    The point with Ruiz was that he OBVIOUSLY hit as lot harder than the unproven SMW that is Groves.

    Why on earth would you think that an unproven domestic level fighter like Groves could land anything when a master technician like Toney with world titles in 3 weight classes could barely land a punch?
