You seem to have misunderstood what I mean by recovery. It sure as hell doesn't mean it will give you a chin as I already stated in my previous post. PEDs don't develop brains, skills nor punch resistance. As I previously stated already to which you might have not read, PEDs improve recovery, stamina and activity/stamina. By recovery I mean withstanding serious punishment, surviving and coming out the following round in a far better state than supposed to. Of course, in order for that to kick in the fighter must have the ability to withstand punches. It's called PERFORMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS for a reason, it ENHANCES whatever you already have, it doesn't develop new skills or attributes. If you have no punch resistance, PEDs won't do ****. I'm not discussing rankings when it comes to Tarver and Marquez, I'm discussing one punch KOs which is a major recurring part of this sport. As I already said and gave you enough examples as proof. If he started taking PEDs they WILL kick in quickly, if not the Americans would have been defeated by the Russians a day before the olympics where they were caught using illegal PEDs. Their quick effects is what makes them illegal.
we got a new wave of fans now. they r juan manuel fans better know as pedtards. welcome to the angel heredia era
read it and weep :| no juan isnt on peds?! noooooooooooo! maybe heredia can fix u a ped cocktail, what do u think? :hey
Just pointing out the level of poster you are. :conf Your efforts have amounted to.. "Angel Heredia LOL".
You said the following in response to me saying Marquez was gassing because blood was blocking his nose and disrputing his breating. Again, no that is not when PEDs would kick in and it is stupid to suggest so. Yes PEDs enhance performance, we already know this. As for what the US did against the Soviets, that is irrelevant to the conversation. We don't know what routine the soviets were on and we don't know what the US did to increase their gains in their drugs over what the soviets were doing. That being said, to try to claim that this some how proves that long term gains can not be achieved with a coach who makes designer PEDs is lacking. If you want to say that PEDs can provide short term gains I agree. If you are saying over an extended time period PEDs offer no benefits I disagree wholeheartedly. PEDs don't have to be used only in the short term and I believe they can be used over a longer time period and still achieve gains as well for the user. As for Tarver and Marquez, I never brought up rankings, so I really don't know what you are talking about in that regard. What I did bring up was that there is no equivalency in the comparison because we are talking about a large and late movement through boxing weight ranges with power carrying up for one in a manner that deserves scrutiny (especially when linked with a fear of taking drug tests) and a fighter who moved up and never showed the same power landing the same punches on the same fighter as they moved up until this one night and after significant gains in moving up after a failed attempt once he linked up with a noted PED fabricator.
Pacquiao's head has grown several hat sizes since he began climbing through the divisions. Its gravitational pull has increased by an order of magnitude. The only thing suspicious about JMM's head is the hair plugs.
Athletes with excellent genetics can only hope to put on about an ounce a day of muscle by natural means (including protein supplements of course.) That's 3.75 lbs in 60 days. Shouldn't be hard to search for the study I'm referring to (no bro science), but I agree that what JMM has done is easily achievable for someone like him via natural means. If he was roiding and his plan was to emphasize knockout power, why weigh in at 143 instead of 146-147? Marquez relies on timing/ring IQ, not speed.
What I find more interesting is Jmm's seemingly increased ability to take punishment as he approaches 40 personally I think punch resistance is the first thing to go but marquez has improved with age.He took one hell of a lot of punishment in his last two fights with manny and sometimes I do wonder if he's on something which helps in that regard.
i would like to see him take a vada test just to see what he is on. peds do allow recovery rate believe it or not. most people just think it increases strength and size. thats y baseball players rarely get injured while on it because of recovery rate. just ask alex rodriguez. once he got off the shite, he couldnt stay out of the injured list
This is the total truth, same with NFL players when there not cycling on that **** they get injured left and right.
Mexican fighters are known for their toughness and punch resistance, nothing really suspicious in that. Marquez has been walking through fire to land his own shots for years.
at 39 though? what about morales? hes actually 3 years younger than juan. most fighters r gone way before 39. plus, heredia is a ped dealer. all signs point to ped use
Pactatds mad Marquez had to even out the playing the other way. Pac ain't wanna take the test so Marquez roids the best
