i know arguing about religion is a never ending dispute from tyson's conversion to islam, hamed's fanatical belief of allah etc. not taking away from marquez's victory since this isnt one of those pac excuse threads, but since manny switched to the born again faith and abandoned wearing the rosary during weigh-ins and during prefight, everything has turned sour for him...just saying. by the way, im one of those that feel happy for marquez's sweet vindication...peace...

Sometimes, it's best not to fix what's not broken.

Not being religious sounding, but hey, jinx exist.

i tend to agree on this one. i mean manny kept proving boxing analysts, who kept saying that his drinking gambling cockfighting womanizing etc would finally catch up with him, wrong. now that manny has abandoned all that stuff, his losses have now piled up...:-(

Yes, I'm sure if there's a god he's busy punishing Pacquiao in form of having some mexicano knock him out cold.

Yup. Living a "clean" lifestyle doesn't make you exempt from getting chin checked through the ropes, just ask RJJ.

I thought he is superstitious? Why would he break his rituals on an important match with JMM? No mass, no rosary, no signing of the cross. Was there singing and tv guesting?

Who cares, he left some superstitious crap just to embrace a slightly different one

He's still a supertitious clown who embarrasses himself by doing dumb rituals in front of millions

    u mad bro?

Apart from you and other raging atheists, his worship is something that enhances his character as being a man of humility and strong faith. I dont believe in pacquios faith but still look at his devotion as admirable.

This is the most ridiculous excuse ever from most of the people in my country. It has nothing to do with religion but due to decline from countless of wars through the years.

Really? because it enhances him as a brainwashed ****** who believes in fairy tales in my eyes. Would you admire a grown up man who still believes in Santa Claus?

There's nothing admirable about people embracing ignorance and superstition, nothing.

And do you know Pacquiao personally? how do you know he's such a beautiful person IRL? because he's a religious nutjob so he must be an amazing dude, huh? GTFO with that.

Some of the worst scumbags in history have been hypocritic religious ***s (heck, some of the worst people i've met IRL too). News for you, being a superstitious wacko doesn't automatically make you a better person, it's quite the contrary, more often than not
