    :lol::rofl:patsch

He is now going to be gun shy and afraid to be countered he will be a complete mental midget now. Look at Roy Jones who everyone called Superman :rofl:patsch he is scared to death to take a punch ever since Tarver Shattered his Glass Jaw. That is what is going to happen to Pacquiao.

Yep. And when a savage KO like that happens the ChinCheckers will be on the scene to examine the evidence.

This is ESB we talk Chins on here. That is a Fact. Glass Jaws exist in Boxing and we WILL discuss them on here.

Most victims of such brutal KO's are never the same again

Montiel after Donaire, Williams after Sergio, Hatton after Pac etc, there are plenty of examples

There's a fat chance Pac will never be the same again, Im not saying he'll get stopped in every fight, but he'll probably perform on a subpar level from now on

And several examples I mentioned earlier of fighters who went on to great things and in some cases avenged their KO

Its time for Pac to hang up. That KO was bound to happen after his dismal showing in the Bradley fight.

None of those guys were knocked out as brutally as Pac. Duran, Lewis, etc they werent iced, put to sleep like Manny was, heck even Hatton was half conscious when he got sparked. Pac was practically put in a coma for about 2 minutes, motionless, totally unconscious.

Can you name an example of someone who got KO'd like that and then ¨went on to do great things?¨

He wasn't concussed though, if he had been concussed then fine I would agree. Physically it shouldn't affect him. KO's like that are extremely rare, there have also been KOs which didn't LOOK as bad as Pacquiao's but caused more physical damage.

You're going purely on how it looked. Pacquiao CT scan was clear, he had no concussion, it was a punch he didn't see, the brain didn't expect it. Marquez was in fact taken to hospital with a broken nose and suffering symptoms of concussion

As spectacular as the KO was, Marquez arguably took more punishment than Pacquiao did.

The only thing that stands in Pacquiao's way is how he overcomes this mentally. It would appear, based on reports we have heard, that Marquez took more punishment than Pacquiao

    1. Ali was floored by Frazier, not KOed.

    2. After getting floored by Frazier, Ali was floored at least twice more. Chuck Wepner and Earnie Shavers both knocked him down. And Ali had already been floored by other guys like Henry Cooper and Sonny Banks.

The difference with pacquiao is that he got put to sleep.
Duran was knocked out, but he wasn't unconscious. His body was still moving.

Can anyone name any top fighter who's come back well after being knocked out unconscious?

CT revealed no serious brain injury like cerebral hemorrhage. But loss of consciousness combined with this is roughly a definition of concussion.
