Fast Eddie just wrote on his facebook-wall: "Edward Chambers Just Made a EastsideBoxing.com account.. My Username is Team_Chambers I will be posting my activities on Forums soon!!.. #TeamChambers" Very good info, I'm looking forward to having another inside-man over here :good
He'll get trolled the **** off within a week. Eddie's a quality guy though and a cracking fighter, will be great whilst it lasts.
Well that's nice, but I don't know why any boxer would want to sign up here. Most boxing 'fans' don't know much about the sport, just like to talk the talk, and it's usually negative. Everyone considers themselves an expert on the internet. See it here every day. Good fighter though.
Problem? Like McGrain said, he'll be trolled, and or have to listen to utter shite spewed by posters who don't really know what they're talking about. Let's not even mention the Klitschko fans. If I was a professional fighter I'd save myself the hassle.
It just might be beneficial to build a repoire with thousands of potential customers and inform them as to when/where you'll be fighting next, just sayin'...
If that was the case, every fighter would be signing up on forums, instead of just the handful that do. A boxing forum is not the number 1 source of advertising for any fighter. Facebook is probably even more beneficial to him, as there's a much wider audience.
