I did say the other day, not fighting at all would be better for Ricky, these fighters he was lined up with were bringing his name further down the bog. IMO he should work flat out in the gym like Marquez showed, and get that fight early next year with Broner.

I aint bothered about all of this at the moment, some of you lot are getting to worked up, its all down to W-arren....nout new.

If it means the next fight is Broner....I will wet my pants when that fight is announced, we will FINALLY get closure.

Rees would have basically become an Allegedly fighter for his next X number of fights - whether it was three or five.

Either that or Allegedly would have co-promoting rights for those fights, and/or a say in who he faced.

So short of Rees retiring, Allegedly could offer Rees up for Manny Pacquiao for ten grand and Rees couldn't do **** all about it.

The best thing about it was that I couldn't win the title , he need a opponent for January I am here if he wants it , I might not deserve a shot at Ricky but i think am a lot better than Walsh and the one who pulled out

Dunno what all the fuss is about!?! They could have had a fight ready tomorrow if they really wanted to!

I'm sure Kevin Mitchell is waiting for the call with his 2 blue hammers and gay porn face?

For sure, Be a nice entertaining fight as well. Good on you for not taking it. Think a less experienced and seasoned pro would of foolishly jumped at it. If they really wanted you to face him they'd of offered a fair amount more to me looks like a token gesture as if to say ''we did try to get a quality replacement. Derry Mathews but he didn't want it''.

Frank didn't really want this fight for Ricky.

The politics in boxing or all politics for that matter is ****ing mind boggling, It's hard to accept that there is that many twatish people out there.

This is why I liken FW to Robert Mugabi, both tyrants in their respected game that are all out to fleece people and make life as miserable as possible for the very people that pay for his ''High Class'' lifestyle

Forgive my ignorance but what would be a fair purse for Derry? 30k? 40k?

I sympathize with you mate, they cant just assume your gonna take a fight on their demands. At the end of the day you have self worth also, and why would they take away the title? It's like saying "we dont rate you, and we dont want to fight you, so we wont take any risk and we'll leave the belt at home in the cabinet."

I mean WTF!?! Disrespectful if you ask me mate....

If that fight was to happen, non-title, Burns' rep would go even further down the pan! :s

    30k minimum IMO.

    1) It's top of the bill
    2) Very short notice

I remember Maloney paying Dallas 35k to step in at short notice to fight Price, Dallas may have been executed, but he got paid handsomely.
